SHE'S HERE!!!

Jun 20, 2009 01:06

After nearly 69 hours... Suddenly I heard the bump of the catflap, and a squawk, and then Tabitha ran into the sitting room squawking and purring, and very very pleased to be home. I'd been imagining it so long that I thought I must be dreaming at first, but I've hugged her, and she's purred, and I've texted M who's texted back, and it seems to ( Read more... )

Oh, thank goodness! I'm so glad she's back! I hope she's exorcized her need for independence and adventure and stays home from now on.

Oh, yay! I'm so glad. And, man, I swear sometimes cats live just to drive us crazy. *hugs all of you*

That must have been one wonderful moment. I'm so pleased for you all that she's home safe and sound. Enjoy your many cuddles that I'm sure you're about to have. :)

I AM SO HAPPY TO HEAR THIS! {I prayed for Tabitha, even though I know you don't believe in it.)

It does sound as if she was locked in somewhere. I had that happen a few times with Claudia and Tessa, but usually only for a day or night. It still frightened me to distraction though.

[big hugs to you and Tabitha, and Rosie too]

I've noticed that Jasmin is a lot cuddlier and more vocal since Claudia went. I shall be interested to see how things change, and they do: Claudia adored Tessa and missed her greatly, but she became less clingy (though still affectionate and head-butty and purry) when kitten Tessa first arrived. OTOH she really became very loving and close after Petra died a few months before that.

Oh, wonderful, I'm so pleased! I've been hoping and looking out for news since I saw your previous one, and this is such a wonderful relief.

Who knows what happens, where they get to, and why they suddenly reappear. Locked in, chased, lost, even accidentally transported? Thomas did it so many times (though perhaps only once for as long as this!); knowing that there was so little I could do, and that he could be anywhere from yards to miles away, was so hard. We just have to rely on the thought that, actually, they *want* to be there with us, and they'll be doing whatever they can to come back. I'm very glad that Tabitha has. Happy weekend! xxx
