I picked up G2 today to find that it was dedicated to 50 years of the Guardian Women's page. I was looking at a picture of Mary Stott on the inside cover, thinking "It would be Mary's birthday around now... in fact, isn't her centenary due..." and then I realised that that was the point: the Guardian had chosen to celebrate its women's page today
