I generally think of CCR as classic rock with sort of a bluegrass feel. Or, maybe that's more of John Fogerty's solo stuff.

Whatever it is, I quite like it.

Oh, I want to try quilting! But I am really bad at sewing. So it'll probably stay on the list of "things I might try maybe later."

I'm really bad at sewing, too, but it was fun and the fact that I can't sew in a straight line mostly didn't matter, which was nice.

2. I had a CCR cd and I LOST IT! :(

6. I liked "The River" and one other one she wrote about a potted plant and an apartment complex... the rest were rather *yawn*.

8. Christian Bale!

9. Christian Bale?!

10. She finished it sometime Saturday and was composing a piano piece for it when I got home from making a pillow.

A sentence I'd only find in your journal...

I really like Westerfeld's stuff. When Ernie finishes the Uglies books (four of them) recommend Peeps and its companion novel... I think it's called Last Days or something.

The end.

8. Christian Bale!

9. Christian Bale?!

*falls out of chair giggling*

Ruth, please never change.

10. My life is awesome isn't it? *laughs*

I really loved the first of the Midnighters books, so I had Mr. Bill on the lookout for more of Westerfield's stuff. I'll look into these others, too, I hadn't heard of them before.

I thought the first one was really cool, haven't tried the second one, yet. I also read a really old book of his that wasn't as good...I can't even remember the title now, but it was from way back when he first started writing.

I started "Uglies" but I couldn't get into it. I guess I just kept on comparing it unfavourably with "Don't Bite the Sun".

I've been meaning to read Westerfield, but haven't gotten around to it, yet.

Deep Wizardry wasn't my favorite, but I did like it quite a bit. Keep reading!
