So they've finally cast someone for the voice of Reepicheep for the Prince Caspian movie.

They cast Eddie Izzard.

I'm just going to let that sentence hang there, in the air, and contemplate the ways in which this could potentially be more awesome than words can express.

Yeah, I am a little worried, honestly, but I'm also optimistic. It's Eddie Izzard. He's made of awesome. It could be really great. We shall see.

I'm just really hoping that they do justice to the character in the script. Hopefully they're scared enough of the rabid Reepicheep fangirls to do a great job.

LOL. Wow. (I didn't know he voiced someone in Five Children and It...the Psammead, I'm guessing, since it was the only major non-human character. And he did it rather brilliant, iirc.)
