I loved that book as well. One of my favorites of last year. Gave it to my mom for Christmas and she loved it too. As you say, has more weight than Stardust (which I still really liked, but you get the sense he wasn't taking it seriously), but not as depressing as American Gods (which never does lighten up much). Anyway, I *heart* trickster gods.
