Man I totally was unclear when I posted earlier, because this is the fandom of my HEART and my SOUL and no I am not really reading fic anymore and I'm not really talking about it anymore but it is AMAZING and I LOVE IT and it is THE BEST CRACK EVER and it has the WORLD'S MOST GLORIOUS CANON IN ALL THE CANONS OF THE WORLD.

like, hello, shouldn't everyone, no matter how they feel about bandom, be just THRILLED that if it IS the wave of the future (Lisa! Wave of the future! /cannot resist urge to quote) or at least the Big Popular Thing with younger teens/preteens as well as everyone else, shouldn't we all be fucking ecstatic that people are LISTENING TO and spending money on and supporting bands made up of people who write their own music, who play instruments, and who formed bands based on personal connection and chemistry and not just because some A+R guy from Universal thought they met Hollywood 'pretty' standards?
