wow, i really loved this fic! usually i am a bit hesitant when it comes to things involving soulmates, but there's something really fascinating when it involve unrequited love and you did it really really well. i also loved the little pieces of world-building in regards to how their society views it, and the taboos surrounding talking about it. the different perspectives of time really worked for me, as well as the slow realization of what was actually going on, and how woohyun's actions and thoughts started to be more and more understandable the more you got to know of his background. i loved the way you wrote woohyun, and his depression and you could really feel the desperation behind some of his actions. (even though he is my bias i seem to have a thing for him getting emotionally tortured and pining, heh)
overall it was great and probably one of my new favorite fics. thanks for writing and for sharing!! <3
wow thank you for this sweet comment <3 ia, i'm actually not too huge on soulmate!aus when they're just straight up, but i really love the concept of unrequited soulmate bonds (because i /love/ pining and angst lmao -_-). i'm glad you think i did it well, because it's kinda my first time writing something as... idk, passionate as this? so it was really difficult trying to write everything with emotional weight, but also not make it feel too contrived. so i'm /especially/ glad you liked woohyun because he was SO DIFFICULT TO WRITE -- and yeah omg, he's such an emotional guy, i really love reading fics about him being broken. i'm sorry namstar ):

i was so excited when i saw that you published your woogyu fic bc I have such a weak spot for soulmate aus!!

Sungyeol has been stabbing Woohyun’s thigh all this time, and if it wasn’t viewable radio, he’d probably be strangling him right about now. amazING id live to see that.
Woohyun knows Sungkyu’s schedule by heart by now, but only because Sungkyu pretty much forced him to memorise it during one particularly slow weekend. wow that’s just such a sunggyu thing to do.
The kick to his ribs isn’t really that hard, but it’s like Sungkyu just flicked the first domino in a chain. Woohyun’s body goes momentarily quiet for a second. Then there’s a searing pain on his chest, and it’s like someone has his heart between their

and yeah, woohyun is definitely someone who has a lot of trouble compartmentalising his emotions! or at least to me he comes across as really sensitive u__u and i guess that's why i made him so angsty and broken here, because i feel like he's the kind of person who could easily stray that way given the circumstance ): also i don't know, i have a really great bias towards reading about sad and pained woohyun, I AM SORRY NAMSTAR.
and the couple hours he spent angsting TT^TT LOL THE WAY THIS IS WORDED... u__u it was an intense couple of hours okay!!
