I absolutely loved this.
The Doojoon/Gayoon interactions were just. The way you described everything in all its lovely subtlety of not really friends but not really lovers either just. I HAVE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS.
And I love the way you characterized Gayoon ;-; /biased for bias
By the end, my heart had been twisted so many times I was an incoherent pile of emotions. In the good way <3
"Why aren't we friends?" she asks again. And he's not sure why that's so hard to answer.

haha, i felt like i was treading such a fine line when i was writing gayoon, because i didn't want to make her seem emotionally unstable to the point it was actually dislikable. but i had a lot of fun writing her! she's my bias too, and i think she has a really interesting personality and it sucks that NO ONE EVER WRITES HER or any of 4m apart from hyuna for that matter. l o l, oh sad irrelevance.

oh man, doojoon/gayoon is one of my guilty pleasure pairings :x mostly because of stuff like this. beastminute as a whole is just like asdfghjkl.

oh my asdfghjkl your comment made me squee in my seat! thank you, i'm really glad you liked it <3 i was freaking out over whether everything went to fast and whether it was too open ended (which kills me because sdfghjkl ALMOST 8000 WORDS!!!), but i'm glad you found their relationship satiating :3 there really needs to be more doojoon/gayoon in the world, i've made them up so they have like the staple love-hate relationship in k-pop (with a bit more angst ;D)

This is just so amazingly written, beautiful and a bit heartbreaking all at once. I like the way you characterized Gayoon, I get that feel of complexity from her too. The interactions between her and Doojoon were so ♥ all the times he would just be there for her when she needed someone ;~~~; kwvbljiqwe. They're so close to actually being something but at the same time there's his feelings for Gina and Gayoon's acknowledgement for those feelings, as well as their unique relationship, that put this wall between them.

There's not enough Dooyoon out there so I'm glad you wrote this ;3; I hope you write more! Such a lovely pairing ♥

all the gayoon love i'm seeing is making me squee, especially since i was just like 'please don't hate her, please don't hate her', please don't hate her' when i posted this. and mmm, i didn't want to give both of them a fairytale ending where doojoon realises gayoons the one for him, because essentially she isn't. and as cheesy as it sounds, he will always love her, but it'll never be what he needs or what he really craves for, especially when there's better out there for him. gayoon is a lot more perceptive in that way :3

i reckon, the lack of dooyoon is so depressing, they're one of the most asdfghjkl 4beast pairings evah! i'll probably write another one day, part of my reason for writing this was in hope it'd start a beastminute revolution... or something :x

The ending is great, is it weird that I like you didn't give them a happy ending? lol it just feels a lot more realistic this way. But they will always care about each other, even if they both find other people.

Naah, it's okay =p Because Jiyoon seemed worried when Doojoon and Gayoon were talking out of the van, I thought it was because she knew Gayoon wanted to confess or something, and that maybe she would be rejected. But now I understand ^^ Btw, Jiyoon and Gayoon have a beautiful relationship as well here. Jiyoon is very supportive, that's cute :3 Always worried for her friend.
