DOES ANYONE HAPPENS TO HAVE AN EXTRA TICKET FOR NEIL GAIMAN'S TALK IN THE SINGAPORE WRITERS FESTIVAL??D:

I just found out that he's coming to Singapore on Oct 31th and Nov 1th, and we were supposed to get his free tickets today at The Arts House at 3pm, BUT I CAME LATE, and the security guard said the tickets were all taken within 20 minutes.D ( Read more... )

All this time I know that he's very famous, but when it seems like I'm the only one who read his books between my peers in Indonesia, I tend to underestimate the number of his fans in Asia, you know? That's why I was quite shocked that many Singaporeans are also a fan of his.:DD Is he very famous in Sweden too? We are getting some of his books translated in Indonesian now, hurrhurr.<3

I don't think he's that well-known... I know a number of his books have been translated; Good Omens, Coraline and Stardust, and maybe American Gods... He's just not very commercialized, I think. He has a fanbase, I know, but I think there's just a certain kind of people who read him. Your everyday Swede won't know him at all. XD

I'm good, thanks! :D I'm kinda offline myself, this is the first time I'm commenting on something in ages xD There's tests and essays and homework and stuff going on right now, so I've just been too busy.
