Another life-threatening sailing ordeal:

(This one was whilst teaching beginner sailors, many of whom, I fear, will never come near the sea again.)

Waves: *are deceptively small*
Kate, Harry, and Mother: *launch boat*

Although I may also be prejudiced, because my main memory related to sailing is of the time my sister went out sailing with my uncle and aunt, the wind changed, and they couldn't get back for hours, despite being within sight of the beach. She ended up with hellish sunburn, and I am slightly wary of boats now.

I'm sure they're a lot of fun though. So long as they aren't too near me. :D
