The government of my country, in all of its infinite wisdom, has decided to introduce a 'Citizenship Test' to give to all potential immigrants to the country. (Questions including such gems as 'Where are the Geordie, Cockney, and Scouse dialects spoken?')

I took the BBC version of it here. Needless to say, I failed rather dismally. I mean, who is ( Read more... )

You saw Franz Ferdinand! **squeals and runs in big and small circles** Were they good live? Did you go and see it by yourself? I shoot these questions at you like happy bolts of sunlight. Or really bad similies.

I'd be terrified to take a 'New Zealand-ish' test, because I know I'd fail. For one thing I hate rugby, which would probably constitute and automatic fail. **giggles**

Erm... isn't Scouse Liverpool and (I know this one) Cockney London? Dunno Geordie.

Franz Ferdinand are completely amazing. Possibly one of my greatest nights ever. I went with Hannah, Alex, and Emma, and we met up with some of Hannah's friends, so there ended up with a whole group of us right at the front, in front of Nick. Who is incredibly cool, and gave Micki his guitar pick (I am incredibly jealous). We bounced around a lot, and I got squashed by all the tall people, and completely covered in bruises. But I was very, very happy about it, because they bacame my 'Franz Bruises', and we spent many a happy time at college comparing our various wounds.

They are great. I am definitely going to see them next time they are anywhere near here.
