I have to pick a topic for a research paper for psychology. It can be pretty much anything related to psychology--someone asked about parameters and the teacher said, "You can't do a paper on 'cats,' but if your topic is 'how cats learn,' then you're okay." Any ideas, given what you know I'm interested in or might be interested in

what about something on psychology in politics, since you already know the political part? either about colors used or language choice or something like that? there's a load of research about political ads and voter response.

Something on ambition, possibly, or motivation? I think that might be just a tad beyond high school skill level, though, but dunno.

Whether political views are more nature or nurture? Don't know if you could quite get away with that as psychology, though.
