im gonna be honest i dont care if the plot of a series is well written so long as there are characters i get so attached to to the point where it changed my brain chemistry i will act as if its a masterpiece

That's really what it is all about isn't it? The plot can be wonky, but if the characters are done right, and you feel a connection to them, then that's a lot of what we really need, characters to relate to, sympathize and empathize with and love.
