Last night I resumed my rewatch (yes, the same one, the rewatch I started the summer in between S9 and S10). The last time I made any earnest headway on this rewatch was winter 2019/20, the last time I was on the academic job market. And here I am, one ongoing pandemic later, back on the academic job market

Oof, sorry to hear that your work stress has persisted :( I'm glad you were able to find time to get back into your rewatch, especially since you were going back to an arc that you enjoy so much. I barely know what you're talking about but the joy and enthusiasm in what you say is delightful as always ♥

(Side note-- as coincidence would have it, I just had Culver's for the first time today!)

And omg! I love Culver's. I've had it twice this year, once this past Friday and once back in August, in Colorado--I didn't even know they existed that far west. But that time was just for ice cream, mmm.

I was happy to indulge in your rambling! I'm ignorant enough of the subject that it even seems entirely coherent to me, lol.

There's a Culver's near my work and I've considered ordering from there so many times but never got around to it. I went yesterday for the first time with my sister and I'll for sure be getting lunch from there again soon! I still need to try a shake or concrete.

Man, Idek my wordcount anymore because I keep forgetting to do the math, I just know I'm behind *sobs* Haven't given up yet, though!!

If you're on the job market again, I'll cross my fingers you get a job that a) values what you do and b) recognises that to get the best out of people you don't work them into the ground with 60 hour weeks... I worry about you sometimes!

Season 10, right... I can't remember anything about those episodes! Argh. I need to do a rewatch and not stall after season 5 this time.

My current job is wonderful! If I could keep it I would--but it's a visiting position. The reason for the work is, ironically, the nature of the academic job market itself. :E Having taken the place of the very free museum work I was doing, sigh lol.

S10! <333 It's in my top 3, and I love love the run to the end.

I don't like season 10. Dean under the Cain label is "not Dean". But I really like episode 23. The scene with Death is very catchy.
