I love this peek into Sam's headspace in that moment; he and Dean are so close and yet so far apart. I love Sam's understanding of his anger and Dean's guilt and the way Sam's thoughts spiral, the brief fantasy he allows himself of the things he knows he'll never do. Such perfect Car Trip thoughts.
