That's funny to me, because I remember seeing a *very* old headstone in a cemetery in Massachusetts when I was a kid that said:
Stop, passengers, as you pass by
As you are now, so once was I
As I am now, so you will be
Prepare for death and follow me.

Fairly creepy but also pretty cool. I imagine variations of same were pretty popular.

SAME. I've pulled ticks off dogs before, and have checked for ticks, but until yesterday I'm not actually sure I'd ever had any actually on me (that I noticed...) but we got so??? many??? WILD. And YES, I want to go walking in the woods with you more often. It's always so, so wonderful. <33

Oh, what a fun idea. We've had a few other instances of an entire town being weird (Scarecrow, anyone?)--it would be neat to have a case where it's fairly benign weirdness.

As I was thinking up this town I was like, LOL I'll bet it's down the road from the Scarecrow town. XDDD Plus it'd be fun to have a town where the dead were already rising before Apocalypse v.15, and that part actually had nothing to do with it (vs. Sioux Falls in S5, for instance).
