It's been a long time since I posted anything, but it has always been my plan to keep writing Ten II and Rose in The Journey After series.  This is set vaguely around the timeframe of Vintage. For the record:  THAT is how you end a series.  Lost, you did us proud.  I'm in tears, in the best possible way.  It's been a great ride and I am thrilled to have been along.

Now can we please have that Sawyer-Miles cop drama spinoff?

I love Terry Pratchett so much for saying what he did in his recent guest blog for SFX.  The highlights (at least for me):

The Doctor himself has in recent years been built up into an amalgam of Mother Teresa, Jesus Christ (I laughed my socks off during the Titanic episode when two golden angels lifted the Doctor heavenwards) and Tinkerbell.

HOLY SHIT.

I love you, show.

Pardon my expletive, but that was necessary.  I'm starting to get it.  This episode, without being in any way spoilery for those of you who haven't yet seen it, was very intricate and will require another viewing.  Or two.

I cannot believe there are only five episodes left.

No spoilers for The Eleventh Hour here, although I have seen it -- just a fond hope that somewhere, David Tennant watched it and both his inner child and grown-up fanboy enjoyed it enormously.  In all those interviews, that seemed to be something he was very much looking forward to.
