the food scale comes in totally handy if you like to bake! i find that 1/2 the recipes i get online are measured in weight instead of volume.

i actually bought a few different food scales, but I kept returning them because they weren't precise. They kept giving me measurements that were a gram or two off. I think the brand was Salter? Finally, i ended up using a Bed Bath & Beyond coupon to purchase a scale by OXO, which seems to be the most accurate.
