Torchwood

Okay, I know there are fans here--does Torchwood air on any US channels or just on BBC America?

I've already started with Dr. Who and The Sarah Jane Chronicles, I might as well complete the viewing with Torchwood. Oh, and will I be hopelessly confused if I come in now?

I do get BBC America, but I've been watching Dr. Who and The Sarah Jane Chronicles on Sci-Fi. I'll have to figure out when Torchwood is on and tune in. (I've been a bit of a junkie lately; even the reality shows there are better than ours.)

Heh. Lately, I've been BBCA, Sci-Fi, USA (lots of Law and Order marathons and NCIS, good to fill my time), History.

I emphatically do not watch my channel, because I'll wind up going on our website for something, and then I'll wind up working. So no.

If you start now, you'll be starting at the end. Series two is over. So that's rather pointless. But if you watch out of order, you'll be confused, so start at S1, trod your way through it (it reminds me of Buffy S1 - not great but necessary for continuity).

But yes, it's only on BBCA and I'd recommend you watch it there if they ever move it/another channel buys it. Even SciFi. They have a tendency to snip out bits that are 1) important and relevant and 2) hot/sexy/innuendo-ish.

Are they available online anywhere, do you know? Or will I have to succumb to buying more DVDs? (And I was being so GOOD after I got BSG!)

Not locked! Though I much prefer legal ways--I feel horribly guilty about doing the other. (Though if it's my only option...)

OMG watch Torchwood. IF you want to watch it in the order they aired in relation to each other, this is the order (though it is somewhat unnecessary): DW1 + specials, TW S1, DW S2 +s, DW S3 +s, TW S2, DW S4 +s.

Either way, watch TW in order (important!) and iaw joesther that it has similar early structure as Buffyverse. S2 totally pwns S1. I almost gave up on it a few times in S1, but SO glad I didn't.
