Canada just won Olympic gold in men's hockey against the US!

Canada has had a great Olympics.

Watched the high lights of the closing ceremony this afternoon. The organisers have a great sense of humour.

Oh, yes, they do ;) And...whew, the hockey was a heart thumper. You couldn't have scripted it much better than that.

I was doing something else but had the ceremonies playing on the TV, then I heard, "I am Bill, and I'm a Canadian." William Shatner!

They showed footage of him watching the various events the last few days but I don't think people expected him to be included in the closing ceremonies.

We watched more of the curling, I can't follow ice hockey the puck moves too fast. But we did watch the final.

Curling...I was never interested in it before though I have some friends who curl. I really got into it during the Olympics. I like that it's such a strategy and skill game.
