The good news, and...

Of the good: I'm writing again! *dances* Something other than teensy, fluffy ficlets or episode tags. I'm going for actual plot here, people. Scary thought. And while it's not that much, only five or six pages a day when I used to average between eight and twelve when a story was active, it's something. (I still remember the behemoth story ( Read more... )

Congrats on writing again.

And don't worry, real life is overrated. And making people think you're weird is fun.

Sometimes I think I should at least try to write something. Even if it's just writing out that one plotbunny that's been bopping around for ages.

Well thank you. *g* And yes, you should try to write something! I resisted it as long as I could, but when I finally took the plunge, it was very addictive, very fast. Also, if a plot bunny has been pinging in your head for a long time, that means it's not going to go away unless you write it. They're persistent that way. ^_^

Heh. I suppose. The only thing is, it's sort of a crossover, but I haven't seen the other show in years.

BTW, I just read Hook yesterday, and I loved it! I insisted on finishing last night, so I didn't go to bed on time like I should have done.

The way you wrote Jack and Daniel together was so natural it really had me believing the slash.
I'm not much into slash normally (I'm more for the friendship thing), but as long as there's no sex in it, I don't mind. Especially if it's well-written.

Whee, thank you for the kind words about Hook! That one was shamelessly self-indulgent, really, a cuddlefic just for the sake of cudding. *g*

And I'm curious now... what's this crossover?

The life of a writer is strange yet addictive. ^_^

Oh yes. I just can't wait for the kidlet to go back to school and the hubby to leave for his military school thing so the house has some actual quiet. Then there's only the two year old to deal with, but she naps.

(Also, icon love. *g*)

It's got to be one of the greatest UK moments ever when Ryan proposes to Colin. And Colin says yes. ^_^

Which ep was that from? I'm not sure if I've seen it.

They really do need to release WL on DVD. All of it.

Yay! Thanks muchly, at least someone is glad. *g* This one may never actually see the light of day, though; it's got a long way to go and I seem to have written myself into a corner. Am working on it. Maybe I'll get lucky.

Well, I wish you the *best* of luck with that. I know written myself into many a corner before, but I have a feeling you'll get it the way you want it in time. ^_^

Of the not so good: You know that fandom that I really, really wasn't writing in again? Really?

Ah, but look on the bright side--if I'm cycling through fandoms, SG1 comes right after this one. Maybe it's the next stop.

To be honest, I doubt it will be, but then I didn't think I'd get back into Whose Line either, and look how that worked out.

Just out of curiousity, what is (was?) your current fandom?

I was most recently in CSI, but I've also hopped through Stargate Atlantis and Stargate SG1 was before that. I appear to get around. And here I thought I was so virtuous.

(Although I'm not sure writing gay porn can possibly fall under the category of virtuous.)
