In the car today, Natalie wanted to know why we couldn't name a new cat Ray since our Ray died Friday morning.

Steff: "No, Natalie. There's only one Ray."
Natalie: "That's not true, there's a bunch of Rays in Due South!"

So... thanks, Paul Gross et al. ::laughs::

I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty. :( **hugs**

Sorry I haven't written back. I've been quite depressed, and Lula is taking a lot of my time. She's a very needy puppy, and I'm finding it hard to do anything but try to teach her good from bad. After a week, she's fine but I'm a wreck. LOL She is, however, as adorable and sweet as she is busy and cry-baby, so it's worth it.

Love you.

Love you too, dear. ::hugs:: No sorries; enjoy your puppy, honey! I'm so sorry you've felt so bad. Is there anything I can do?

Sweetness! What a lovely little girl comment. Love your picture by the way. :)

After my husband died, my son had a very vivid dream about him standing in a meadow, with long grass and flowers up to his knees, and our dog Bertie was just flying along toward him, flattening a track through the foliage, ears flapping on either side. And then Bertie bounded up, and my husband he just rolled over each other laughing.

My son woke up crying, of course, but I like to think these things are real. (Actually, I'm sure of it, that while nothing is permanent nothing is ever forgotten either. We just move on from one light into another.) What I'm saying, cliche though it may sound, is that I'm sure you'll see Ray again.
