Renfield didn't groan as he unplastered his face from the pillow, but he wanted to.

Scotty and Harold were still asleep. As well they should be. Renfield had discovered through the pair of them that alcohol consumption need not be all bad, though if he ever caught himself behaving slightly like Guy Laurent, he would probably stop and never leave the cave of humiliation ever again.

Bleary eyes blinked open and crossed immediately to regard his fringe, which in his intoxicated slumber had apparently been teased to inadvisable size.

Blink. Blinkblink.

He shut his eyes again and proceeded to snuggle into Scotty's back, resolving to tame his hair at a time more suited to consciousness.
