Hi, again.

So... I've been having this weird LJ phobia to go with all the other flavors of insanity I've been dipping into of late. If anything of note's happened to you guys in the last... several weeks, I'm probably unaware -- so please do drop me a comment if there's anything you'd like to share with me ( Read more... )

whoa books! *adds to list*
am reading 'breathers' by s.g. browne http://www.undeadanonymous.com/ and LOVING it so far

hey hey, TV! i have been watching 'survivors' which is this post-apocalyptic type thing: a virus has wiped out 99% of the human population, the remaining 1% are learning how to survive (i haven't done the math, and it's based in england, but it seems like there are more than 1% left, unless only ppl in england were immune... but anyway, i am enjoying it!)
also, did you watch 'misfits'? OMG it is EXCELLENT!

A zombie rom-com? Whoa. *adds to list* this needs to be seen to be believed.

re: TV -- I've not seen or heard of either of these shows, but will check out. What is "misfits"?

ZOMG! MISFITS! a group of delinquents get struck by lightning and develop SUPER POWERS - there is no way this could have NOT been awesome, and then it surpassed awesome by a long shot!

Congrats on the VS ep (awesome!), the forthcoming Whoanthology, and OH YAY BRISTOL. And good luck with both the MLA panel and your current stint in the diss saltmines.

Very glad to hear that your curmudgeons are hanging in there.

Hi Kali! I totally understand about the fear of LJ thing, but I'm so glad to see you. *hugs*

The VS episode is disturbingly and devastatingly brilliant. I had to read it too quickly (for lack of time, but also because of the amazing suspense), and hope I'll get a chance to sink into it properly soon.

Congrats on the anthology, and I hope Bristol will be as exciting as it sounds. Can someone please film and post it online like all those TW con panels? I would love to see you and rm other Whovian notables speak!

Speaking of TV... have you see John Barrowman on Desperate Housewives? Or his really cute (even cuter than usual) interview with Alan Carr last month: "Can you throttle someone with jazz hands?" Yay for you tube--I have no TV.

I'm so glad to hear from you too! *hugs* And also that you liked the ep ;-). I'm looking forward to Bristol (except now of course I have to write the damn thing. This is the downside to the whole conference thing isn't it? Curses.)

I have not see the Desperate Housewives episode... I don't think I've ever watched any of that show. I should probably check it out though. Did you like it? And yes, I sometimes think back to the days before the intertubes, and am kinda in awe. WHAT WOULD I DO WITHOUT YOUTUBE? I honestly have no idea. ;-)

Your show sounds AWESOME. Which I could've seen it! And awesome GF? That is seriously kick-ass. *bounces in shared squee*

And thanks for the cheerleading... I need it.

I haven't been reading online that much... again, internet fear, but... I'm back now, I think. ;-) re: Virgin - you go with your rocking non-fiction bad self. It sounds pretty fascinating, actually.
