...has sucked pretty hard. Which is sad, because it was birthday week. There was one bright spot of a small family-ish (i.e. nearest and dearest friends) party on Sat. -- which was pretty delightful, and I did get a fair amount of awesome loot from aforementioned nearest and dearest, but aside from that: I've had a head cold that is not going away

Ugh, computer dying is the WORST. A friend told me about Mozy, which is this service that theoretically backs up your comptuer for you daily and keeps it on their server in case your computer dies. I say "theoretically," because my computer hasn't died yet, so I haven't had to test the theory yet. The fee, however, wasn't that huge, and, if they do what they say they do, it's totally worth it to me to never have to freak out about the death of the computer again.
