Thanks to faris_nallaneen, I have news! That you probably already know!

Do not click this link if you a) consider casting news a spoiler, and b) don't want to be spoiled.

Article also contains mild spoilers re: David Tennant appearances.

I suddenly want to write the new companion at Ianto's girlfriend.

Either that, or she needs to go have a lot of sex with Jenny.

Yeah. JENNY COULD BE OLDER THAN THE NEW COMPANION.

Yep! Looks good! And is that Myfanwy screeching in the background?

You know what's weird is not hearing Jack speak in any of the trailers. It's mostly Gwen, with a smidge of Ianto. Strange.

Gwen is kickass in that trailer!

Phooey. I was hoping Sally Sparrow would be brought back.:) I hope they let her use her Scottish accent.

yah, it would be seriously great to have a Scot who's actually Scottish!

It would have been pretty cool to have Sally Sparrow back. I also am v. ready for a companion who's NOT from 21st century Earth!

I have such a weakness for redheads it's not funny, I hope they don't do something with it. Actually I really like the fact that the actors are quite young, it opens the doors for new jokes/attitudes/situations and fun with their age discrepancy versus their apparent similar ages. But yeah, I guess it's all a case of 'wait and see'. I'm really excited over any news at all, which kind of feeds my optimism.

I know! The boy just bought me "The Forgotten" to ease the Who withdrawal.

I don't object to their youth per se, I just don't want the show to become... homogenous sparkle. I want it to continue to do interesting things with people and demographics! I've loved every companion so far, and they've all been very different, which I think rocks. On the other hand, I guess the whole young thing is a new come out for the show itself, so...

I'm pretty much ready to cut Who a LOT of slack. I just don't want them to become... twilight doctor, yah know?

Did you watch the Tonight's the Night clip? Ughhh you & RM have me thinking RPS thoughts every time Barrowman and Tennant are in the same room, now.

Hee hee, Twilight Doctor. Nah, I think they handle relationships in a pretty realistic way, if with a little cheese, and I have confidence from the way they've portrayed other teenage characters like Rose, Jenny, Sally Sparrow... even the kid in Midnight had his head screwed on straight. Maybe I'm biased because I am twenty-one.

No, you're right! I should have faith. (It's not like I'm that much older than that anyway. A mere 7 years. ;-)

Hahahah. Nope haven't seen it. But will certainly check it out now!
