The diction of their dialogue here is making the actors' voices play in my mind, very strongly.

Thank you! For me anyway, their cadences are very much not my cadences, so learning to do it is consistently fascinating.

Thank you so much! I think we both try really hard to actually hear them saying the various things as we write them down, so it's great to know it worked for you!

Flippin Ada this was great. That's some of the hottest sex I've read between these two. I love how Ianto just seemed to keep falling to his knees. That actually happens in my head a lot *g*

Thank you! When we were planning this out we really, really didn't think it was going to go like that, but it just kept spinning off in weird, filthy directions, which you know, was pretty pleasing.

Mine too! Thank you so much. When you put Jack in the room, things heat up quite a lot more than I'm used to. He is very inspirational as regards writing porn....

I really love this, especially as a sequel.

Thank you. We're really into it as a restabilization (well, to a certain extent, because their deal with each other is totally deepening in the course of this incredibly screwed up day and it's not making them all that damn comfortable) after the events of the previous piece, but I suspect a lot of people will come to it without reading that one.

There will probably be one more shorter, less porny piece in this little plot arc, because wow, mornings are a bitch.

Thank you so much! It was a very messed up day for these two, so I'm glad to know the two (so far...?) pieces held together.

Woah.

I don't think - no, I know I haven't - ever read a conversation between the two of them that was that powerful, that... adult? Only more adult than most adults are, I suppose. The sex and the powerply of it all were marvelous, but it was the harshness of the conversation over dinner that left me positively gasping. I don't think I can possibly say how much I love this, except that I really, really do.

Thank you so so much (and for the recs at the new comm).

The conversation was really intense to write. I don't think I got more than three hours of sleep a night while we were working on it, because it was just that tense and I had to know how it was going to sort out.

There's going to be one more, probably shorter, piece in this immediate series (morning afters being what they are and Torchwood being what it is), although Kali and I are bad at getting our teeth back out of things once we get into them, so who knows....

I can see how much of that intensity went into the conversation - I absolutely believed the flow of it, too, and I'm picky about realistic-sounding dialogue.

Yay for more! I can't say I'll encourage you to get our teeth out of this series. Mind if I friend? I've really enjoyed everything you've written in Torchwood so far.

Thank you and go right ahead (I'll add you back). Hell, then you'll get to see my snarky friends-locked "Oh my god what is wrong with the fic in this fandom?" posts, which will probably amuse you.
