I'm sick. Like head full of snot sick. It's unpleasant in the extreme.

But on the upside a personal writing project is puttering a long, slow but sure.

Now I just have to do a history paper so I can have some kind of knowledge in my head when it comes time to redo the test I bombed because I'm almost 30 and an adult and back in school and having to worry about bombing history tests.

Oh, and the new Transformers cartoon is pretty weak. On the upside, though, the Avengers cartoon is awesome.

And the Darkwing Duck Annual is love.

So... yes.

Talk to me about Darkwing Duck. Are we talking animation or comic form? I have a deep love for Darkwing Duck but am totally out of the loop as far as his current canon.

There's a new Transformers cartoon? When does it air?

I'm sorry that you're sick - that's awful. And having to through history tests and write history papers on top of that. UGH.

There hasn't been a Darkwing Duck cartoon for a while now. "I'm the zit that appears on the day of your date, I'm the 'mystery meat' on your lunch tray, I'm-"

Darkwing Duck was my jam back in the day when Disney Afternoon was on.

The Darkwing Duck comic is love. Total and complete. And while there are references aplenty to the cartoon (which I barely half-remember), they're easy enough to follow and/or look past in the context of the stories presented.

As to the new Transformers cartoon airs fridays around prime-time-ish (I get mine a few days later via torrent 'cause I'm in Sweden) on Hasbro's cable channel.

Thankfully, I'm much less sick now and, with luck, will be receiving an okayish grade on my papers.

I went to a Ren Fair this weekend and saw someone dressed up as Dracula but they were wearing a cat head (like a mascot head). I don't understand. Plus it was 85 so they must have been a pool of sweat.

Were they wearing a strange hat? like an old-timey nurse-coif? They could have been dressed as a Sister of Plenitude, from Doctor Who.
