I'm so sad that Paul Cornell's Captain Britain & MI13 book is ending. Woe, sadness, grief-stricken balladry, oceans of tears, an eschatological crisis, the light of justice has been dimmed by the iron-clad and ruthless exigencies of capitalism, etc.

As someone over on Scans Daily 2.0 commented, Cornell really gets Brian Braddock and Pete Wisdom. ( Read more... )

I just about died when I realized what Doom was up to. He KNOWS that there's no way Vlad can hope to use Meggan, but Vlad's still going to owe him one. Magnificent Bastard at work!
