Greg Pak imbibes crack regularly, and likes being witty. It might almost make it worth picking up that Herc thingie.

Oh, Herc is DEFINITELY worthy of your time, dear. There's AWESOME!Athena, AWESOME!Herc, Amadeus Cho, his little puppy, and the kind of GMP-certified straight-from-the-lab crack that keeps me happy. There was Athena, Herc, and Amadeus on a road trip across America with Athena driving an SUV and Herc passed out drunk in the back seat! There was the God Squad team up between Herc, Athena, Ajak of the Eternals, Demogorge the God-Eater, Snowbird, and Amatsu-Mikaboshi! There was Ares shooting at Hercules with a Gatling gun! There was Herc and Shulkie having five-alarm trailer smex-...oh, wait, that happened over in the She-Hulk book. There was...oh, hell, just go get a few issues electronically and tell me what you think.

I feel Pak did a slight misstep with the whole Amazon plot (because it's yet another male writer talking about how evil a future female-dominated utopia would be), but then again the Amazons in Marvel continuity have always been depicted as rapaciously hegemonist, so it wasn't nearly as bad as what DC did to the ( ... )

but there's a lurid appeal to this trailer all the same.

That would be the handcuffed RDJ, Kali. You'll be able to find that on google 7 minutes after the film premieres, so don't bother wasting 8$ on it.

...And you would be right. There's also the spectacle of watching RDJ!Holmes engage in the 19th century version of a CAGE MATCH.

Ugh, I was really saddened by the sheer idiocy over at SD 2.0, too.

Also, Dwayne Johnson continues to amuse me a lot.

As does Herc.

Dwayne Johnson gives good interview, Y/Y? He really, really does.

I just assume that people who still don't get it are deliberately missing the point so that they can enjoy their fandoms guilt free. 'Lalala, if I keep accusing you of being the problem I won't have to seriously question my fandom or what it may say about my personal standards and values.'

Motto. A thousand times motto, I say. I remember that there was abundant racefail in evidence on S_D 1.0, what with all the habitual citizens who specialized in denying that racism existed anywhere at all within the genre (or in the Avatar film casting), but I'd kind of hoped that they'd drifted away. No such luck. I'm used to colonel_green's knee jerk denial and derailing, though; he's as regular as clockwork. We might need a bingo card just for him.

Lady Miss L.!! How are you?

Rainbow unicorn, yes. WITH ROBOCOP. So deliciously random. I felt fully sated after I first saw that macro. Almost as good as sex!
