I love Animal! I don't remember those clips in particular but I do remember the one where he drums over Rita Moreno singing Fever. And then she gets her own back.

Guilty pleasures? Hm. I love musicals, even including Disney or Disney-fied ones. (I haven't seen High School Musical, but I probably would love it.) There are more, but it's cold here so I can't really think of anything other than "NEED WARMTH OH GOD WHERE IS THE SUN".

I keep forgetting that you're in the southern hemisphere!

Yeah, I love musicals too. I admit it. There. :-D

Hah! I am actually currently in the northern hemisphere and I'm STILL cold! England is grumpy because I mocked the level of sunshine, I think. Now I know why everyone went crazy with the short clothes when it was sunny.

NONE OF MY PLEASURES ARE GUILTY. I embrace pop music wholeheartedly.

Speaking of which, I'm behind on the cool Japanese music. What are you listening to nowadays, good sir?

Shiina Ringo has a new album out soon. School Food Punishment is pretty good, and I'm always into Zazen Boys/VOLA &THE ORIENTAL MACHINE/toddle.

Immi makes some fucking sweet electro, and uh....

I've kind of fallen behind because I'm busy with ~the West~.

Shiiiiina. I'll admit that I listened to a couple of tracks that came out after Osca (I think?) and was a little disappointed. But I hold out hope!

... Guilty Pleasures?
Hannah Montanna. I like the Southern Drawls so much she's bearable. And then my friend gave me the CD. :/

DOOM! You are hellbound! But you'll be singing and dancing on the way down, so that's a good thing.

I've proceeded to wash it all away with Beirut. It's working so far.

I'm I too far past redemption?

You're straddling the line, but I'll give you a pass.

Hey, I kind of dig Lady Gaga. I'm straddling the line, too!

I have recently become a raving 12 year old over Fall Out Boy's hairy, sci-fi & comic book geek, straight edge & vegan, embarrassingly hypocritical anarcho-primitive who is on MTV and drives a BMW drummer and his house of obvious homosocial dudebro behavior. There. My shame is manifest. Andy Hurley, Marry Me signs are a moment away from happening.

This might be the best response ever to this question. Not only did you confess, but you used "dudebro." Well done, dear.

My shameful musical crushes? Dare I list them?

...I'll start. I only have two: Sarah McLachlan and Bif Naked.

Move along. Nothing to see here.

...Wow. Sarah? WOW.

I'll cop to loving Irish and Scottish traditional. There.
