The body heat imaging thing could totally backfire on them. I glow like a beacon on those things (literally, I am all white/blue/green) without ever having a fever. In fact, while having an internal temp lower than 98.6. My mother, on the other hand, could have a raging fever and still show up as normal or cooler than normal. It's something, but it's hardly reliable.

I own that issue of She-Hulk, and yes, it's so funny that Marvel did two separate homages to that Vanity Fair cover with Demi Moore.
