That's actually Carter and Kendra, not the Thanagarian Hawks. But yes, thinking *exactly* like Moon Knight. :-DDDD
Edit: Frank Castle does the same thing when he decides to show himself. He knows what happens when 99.9999% of the people he wants dead see the skull on his shirt; they promptly lose their MINDS in fear.
Captain America also does it, but for the opposite reason. Steve quickly understood that when the populace saw him in costume, it was reassuring. Oddly enough, it was Bendis who really picked up on that and had a nice scene of Steve in Prague talking to Viper, and when Viper asks him why he's in costume while sitting at a coffee shop, Steve notes that it's because he's found that it generates an aura of calm.
Isn't that a gorgeous piece? I'd kill to own the original. I love that Carter's drawn as not ridiculously overdeveloped (although his sexy chest hair is missing), and Kendra's actually drawn as gracile. I love it when Kendra's drawn without JJJ cups; she's occasionally been drawn as athletic and almost wiry, and that's a really good look for her.
Agreed. It takes all kinds, and all body types, and speaking as someone who prefers women who don't look like Pamela Anderson, I'm very pleased by that.
