If one more person writes Castiel's nickname Cass, I will have a conniption. It's CAS, people! Where does the extra 's' come from? He's not a Cassandra. [face palm]

i don't even like calling him cas.

i couldn't for the longest time but it started to seep into my lexicon the more obsessed with cas i've become. and the more i've rewatched s4 since dean refers to him as cas 90% of the time. it's infectious. but i do generally refer to him as castiel. it's such a great name and he's a very formal individual.

most of the other human characters have picked on dean's nickname. little plot bunnies have been running around my head wondering if there is/was/will be a human character who doesn't ever abbreviate Castiel's name; what would their reasons be for doing so?
