Unbelievable! Just when I had given up hope, the anti-gay adoption bill was killed! Who would have thought that Democrats could actually have spines? Apparently, debate on the measure turned personal, and the Republican sponsor managed to piss off enough people to get the Dems to vote down party lines. Fortunately, Dems still outnumber Repubicans
