Also I'd say yeah, his lips could use just a wee bit of color 'cause I didn't notice his eyebrows at first due to headband, so his face looked really blank :o
Waaah. I didn't know you finished Sano. XD He's adorable, and his eyebrows look great! (Nice and cleeean.) I think you should totally blush his lips lightly with pastel so they would have more definition. But yeah, I see what you mean about the color being quite off. Maybe you can try blushing his entire face with a color similar to his body? (We had that problem recently with Elliott when we bought him new hands. His new hands are lighter than his body, and a smidge pinker. After blushing his hands to match better, it's pretty hard to tell.)
Blushing his face might be the only option left, since I've already tried to blush his body. But I'm scared that I'll mess up! xoX; Indoor lighting makes it look a LOT worse; he can allllllmost get away with it in daylight.
Ehhhhh I hate and love blushing, honestly. D,: I seem to have bad luck with it, so my pastels clump and noooo~ As a note, do your customizations DARKER than you expect, because if you blush lightly it'll just look like shadows or blend into the shadows-- meaning the doll won't look blushed at all. (That's what happened with the first face-up I posted up of Elliott. He's actually shaded and blushed here and there, but it all ended up looking like part of the shadows.) So go darker. Face-ups tend to look lighter when you put the wig on, too.
Don't worry! You can just take it off if you do mess up! XD
