[Early in the day, Bernkastel will write out a message to her favorite abandoned piece.]

Join me for tea tonight, ANGE.

[When the feed clicks on, the witch recording can be seen on the roof of one of the Community Buildings at night time. The area is slightly illuminated by a soft blue glow of light, which is coming from the girl herself.]

Tonight marks the star festival called Tanabata Day, which exists in many different worlds and fragments. You may or may not be familiar with the tale, but take it for what it is.

The tale is of Orihime, a princess of the sky who wove beautiful clothes that her father loved to see her in. She wove the clothes so that her father could be happy, but due to how long it took to weave them she could never find someone to love. Her father saw this and arranged for her to meet Hikoboshi, who lived on the other side of the heavenly river. The two fell in love, but began to neglect their duties. Orihime would no longer weave and Hikoboshi would not tend to the cows in Heaven. So the father, angered by this lack of responsibility, forbade his daughter to see the man.

...Still, as an immortal man is still a man, he was weak for his daughter's tears. He said that she would permitted a visit to the other side of the river, to meet Hikoboshi on the 7th day of the 7th month. That day is today.

[The journal camera is then redirected at the starry sky and Bernkastel begins to point toward the stars. To make it easier to pinpoint she shoots a silent blue shot of magic, directed at the star she refers to. It is only a few seconds later does the star begin to shine brighter in the night sky thanks to her blast.]

The first star, Vega, represents Orihime. The other star [she lowers her finger to shoot another silent blue shot, lighting up the other star] is Altair, which represents Hikoboshi.

While this story is known to some, it is also known as the day of wishes. If you write down a wish for something a 'miracle' will grant you that wish, if you truly desire it more than anything in the world. That is why, as the Witch of Miracles, this is a day that I am normally receiving many requests from many different people in many different fragments of universes. Only a few other days are so overbooked, like Christmas or New Years.

So please, for the sake of my ears, do not wish too hard tonight. Have a good evening. [She giggles lightly.]

[ooc: also a visual of the stars in case the writing looks confusing.]
