IT'S TIME... TO PICK NEXT YEAR'S CONTESTS!
All right! It's that time of year... That's right! It's time to vote for next year's competitions!
After careful consideration, killaurey and I've decided that instead of having two giant, month-long breaks, we're going to schedule several little, shorter breaks between some of the competitions. That way, people will get to have rests between challenges and, hopefully, be rarin' to go when the next one rolls around. However, that means that there will be fewer challenges next year. How many challenges we schedule for next year will largely depend on which contests are chosen. Shorter, less involved contests will still run across a single month while longer, more involved contests will run across about six weeks.
Below I've typed up a list of all of the challenges suggested for next year. Please choose SIXTEEN of them in a response to this comment. (All of the comments will be screened.) At this point, any cunning contest ideas that you have should be saved for the next round of contest drafting. We will only count votes that come from the list below.
Later, killaurey and I will add up your votes and set up a schedule of contests for next year based on what's popular. (And yes, we will try to maintain an even balance between art, writing, and writing/art competitions.)
