Next Year's Community Layout- Banner Submission Post

Happy November 18th, everyone!

So I'm sure everyone has seen the awesome new Dreamwidth Design by pockyphoto. But what you don't know is that she's also created a really great looking (and extremely functional) layout for our LJ community as well.

Come January, we're going to be switching to the really cool new design, which is almost, very nearly, oh so close to being done. But pockyphoto needs one last thing--a banner.

That's where you guys come in!

Do you want to see your art on the layout? Why yes, yes you do.

What you need to know:

1) The banner has to be exactly 900 pixels by 125 pixels (that's 900 wide, and 125 tall), including the border.

2) They need to have the grey border (HTML code = 525252) that I've posted below. If you don't know how to put the border on I'll do it for you, but be aware that your edges and corners may end up cut off.

3) The artwork used has to be yours, belong to someone who has given you permission to use their artwork, or be in the public domain. If you want to team up with someone else, go for it!. Finally, you can re-use your old art to make your banners.

4) You can have words on it, but you don't have to. Quotes (again, give credit), the community name, and other stuff are all good.

5) Put your banner in a comment to this post. You can use a link to its location, or use the actual image.

6) You can submit as many banners as you want. The more the merrier!

7) At some point in December I will re-post everyone's entries to a single post, and we'll have a vote as to which one everyone likes best.

Additional info: The new layout is in shades of grey and white, with hints of a very pale blue. You can probably use nearly any colour scheme you'd like and it will work.

Also, I'm not sure if we can have a pornographic image as our header, but don't let that discourage you from submitting them. =^.^=

The border you need is here (actual size):
