Btw OMG I loooooove your current desktop pic <3 super cute, I'm afraid to post or openly show anything kakasaku openly for fear of my boyfriend thinking of me as a creeper who likes pedophilia-type-couples (Because he is also a big fan of Naruto and will only think of the old kakashi and young sakura). The only people I express this fandom to is you lovely people and random other people on DA. It's kinda like a dirty little secret, which is some ways kind of kinky ;), but in other kinda sad :/
btw i hope you don't mind me taking that pic and file it under 'awesome'

And I am headed out to LA for 4th of July weekend--I've always thought the weather there was fantastic. The humidity here is just out of control. At least in CA, the air is dry, which helps me not become a sweat factory so soon. D:

On another note, I have tons and tons of pics of KakaSaku and random cool stuff, but I have them all saved on a flash drive that happens to be misplaced at the moment. I'm pretty sure that it's hiding with the pair of sunglass that I misplaced last week and laughing at my distress.

My beats for the heat are pretty standard though: wear as little clothing as possible and stick to the shade. When forced into the glorious sun, wear thin clothes and cover any exposed skin with craploads of sunscreen (the absolute worst part of summer is melting away AND having sunburn - no golden tan is worth that agony, let alone the risk of skin cancer). Also: have pool parties! And if, like me, you have no pool, take it to the local swimming pool/beach/wherever there's water. Stock up on sorbet. Refrigerate your water. Have cold showers instead of warm ones (and I mean really cold - painful while it's going but when you get out it's bliss - possibly don't do it just after exercising though, because that's not much fun ( ... )

What you call the "glorious sun" I call "THE HORRIBLE DAYSTAR THAT BLINDS AND BURNS ME." I adore the cold. Plus, my winter wardrobe is way more awesome than my summer wardrobe. I just packed up my beautiful scarf collection today...*sniffle*
