Yup selective colors is sooooo good! I used it with a soft grey color mode too :x I'm amazed how the selective color make bright color but I usually prefer a soft tone one~

I never used one before, I only have Photoshop Element that I got from a friend, so I was never experienced with Selective coloring nor Color balance, which it pretty sad cuz I'd go crazy on it if I had it :(

So, what's selective coloring for? is it suppose to brighten images?

aww. you know mostly ppl get PS CS on the net, or pirated version shhh! XP
Anyways, you can choose a specific color in the image and sharpen it, make it look brighter with selective color. I'm not sure if that's the right explain. never good with explanation to begin with >P.
