I personally don't have a problem with fic search posts, but I know some members prefer to see fewer of them, so I'm testing a new system and I hope you guys can give it a try, see if it works, and let me know how I can improve on it

No problem. Any time you've got a dead url, try plugging it into The Wayback Machine, there's a decent chance it was archived.

Yeah, that's right, their mission statement is to archive the entire internet*.
