Not What You Expected

I would sit here rocking, but I don't have a rocking chair. I do have a wicker chair. It has a foot stool. So, I can put my feet up at least. I had a feeling something was up when they had to go to Florence to get the key, as opposed to the key being with the book itself. I wasn't expecting that, though. This entry was lively and descriptive and was a lot of fun.

Thanks! The key disappeared about 200 years ago. I'm thinking someone deliberately separated them.

I definitely thought about this take while I was trying to consider this prompt--using the etymology of porch to dig in is clever. It does seem that our protagonists have perhaps stumbled into more than they bargained for with this book. Nicely done.
