Well, I'm feeling a lot better now, and part of that has to do with how energetic and happy Leo seems to be nowadays. It was so much worse when he was lethargic.
I got creeped out by my own writing when I wrote this Silent Hill 4 Walter/Eileen fic called "Yes, Mother." It wasn't even that explicit or that long but it was creepy to me and I almost couldn't finish it. And writing one original I wrote... I have trouble even thinking about that original because I based it very loosely on something that happened to me.
In other vain news I also laugh at my own jokes when I write humor. Like, way too much. I feel guilty.
Oh yeah... was that the one where Eileen was reduced to a kind of Stepford Wife? Because that was really creepy. I can understand why you'd have problems writing it.
And don't worry-- I laugh at my own jokes, too. Hey, someone's got to, right?
I didn't have so much of a problem typing my story, but once I was finished and went to go to bed I was really paranoid-- looking over my shoulder and jumping at the smallest noise. Wasn't fun while I was experiencing it, but looking back I think it was cool that my own writing managed to get that kind of reaction out of me.
I've only gotten creeped out by my stories on several occasions because of their theme. E.G. A woman's boyfriend comes and rapes her daughter.
I also wrote a story as a response to my boyfriend who said "He didn't scare easily." The story was meant to be found on my desk and compiled of several letters between a fictional rendition of my boyfriend and I. I'm recounting my experiences of slaughtering his ex-girlfriends but then the letters phase into a fictional story and by the end of it you're to be left wondering if it really happened. I even went to the extent of asking his two friends how his ex-girlfriends looked, full name and their current residence. His friends were all then willing to help as they found the idea to be hilarious.
I of course became a little worried of my boyfriend becoming paranoid by the thought of my presence in the room and scrapped the idea. Though I have absolutely no doubt the story would have changed my boyfriend's opinion on the genre. X3

Yeah, somebody has to. At least sometimes other people also laugh!
