Dammit. I was on a roll.
See, I was all geared up to write more stuff for sh_het, and all of a sudden my mood has been utterly annihilated. Usually I kinda jump in and out of the fandom and I'm able to get back into it without too much trouble, but... well, I just found out that all of Cardcaptor Sakura is on Surfthechannel.com, and so I... started watching the third season.

JESUS FRIGGIN' CHRIST. Puppylove!Li IS SO. GODDAMN. CUTE. I am physically restraining myself from squealing. I'm serious. I'm actually clamping my teeth together, trying so hard not to make a sound so that my roommates won't think I've suddenly gone insane. OH MY GOD. *flail*
Not many people know this, but I am an absolute sucker for puppy love. It's one of my biggest weaknesses. Get two prepubescent kids together in a scene and have them getting all blushy and flustered over each other and I'm virtually melting in a puddle of cuteness.
Seriously. I squee. It gets even worse if one of the kids is bad-tempered at the beginning, and Li's had that in spades.
And now he's denying his feelings for Sakura and getting all embarrassed and jealous and THAT ONE SCENE where she's giving him a big smile and he looks terrified and you can actually hear his heartbeat and it speeds up the more he looks at her and AGH. AGH.
SO FREAKING ADORABLE.
I think you can see that I can't possibly write about the utter mindjob that is Silent Hill after witnessing such a blatant display of cavity-inducing goodness.
I should be bitchy about being thrown out of my Silent Hill mode, but... I can't. Gah. I love you, CLAMP. Thank you so much for utterly making my day.
In other news... dude, I'm like, rich and crap now. I just got two paychecks that altogether make more than a hundred dollars. Which... probably doesn't seem like much, but it's a heck of a lot more than what I had last month, which was nothing. I can buy video games now!
(I'm actually thinking of buying Christmas presents early this year, just in case I don't get a job over the summer. I hope I can keep this one for another year, because it's awesome and it pays well and everyone is so nice.)
