Emmett brushed his hand lightly across her face, each stroke just as gentle as if he were touching a doll made of porcelain. The gold of his eyes burned brightly as he watched her try to settle herself against him. He chuckled softly, the skin around his eyes wrinkling with his smile.

She flashed him a small smile in return, her chocolate brown eyes staring up at him with warmth and curiosity.

"What is it, Bella?" he asked, his hand stroking the side of her face, leaving a trail of fire on her skin in its wake.

Nothing nearly escaped her lips, but she changed her mind at the last second. "I..." She paused, her cheeks flushing from embarrassment.

A small smile lit up his face at the sight. This had always been his favorite side of her.

"I was just realized that we've never actually kissed since we've been together. I mean, a little peck here and there, but..." Her cheeks burned crimson, her stomach uneasy. "So, I was thinking that maybe we should... try
