Now that she knows, she can see the signs that once evaded her eyes if she watches closely enough: the slightest of gentle touches as one passes the other, heads inclined a mite too close in near-silent whispers, the sudden tilt of her lips as he sits across the room with shut eyes. The last hurts most; she remembers when those stealthy waves of pleasure were directed at her.
Edward tries to hide his disapproval at the thoughts he hears, but she doesn't need him to confirm her knowledge--far more than a suspicion, too sure to hope otherwise.
For they haven't forgotten her gift, but they have overestimated their own control over their actions, mistakingly believing that she will never find out because nothing else will come to pass. She has seen the future--she knows they will leave together, and let the world come crashing down in their wake.
