The most frustrating thing about her that he's gathered in the short amount of time he's known her is that she has an infinite capacity for forgiveness. She'll forgive him anything. Tanya is naturally forgiving at heart; that combined with the level of devotion he has for her whether he likes it or not just might prove to be fatal for his resolve to not want her, not love her, not see her.
It might prove to be fatal for him, too, but he isn't going to think about that (yet).
Her kiss is sharp like a bite, and cold like death. He sees Bella's face behind his eyelids, but he blinks and she's gone.
Maybe between them they can find a normal temperature.
