I like the idea that Mike started to like Tina at Regionals - it gives him a little more depth. Thank you so much for sharing this!

I'm a total believer that Mike and Tina didn't just show up at Asian Camp and fall for each other. There was something between them before that; it's so obvious when they dance together in the latter episodes of S1. So this is just... putting that out there. And honestly, I really wanted to write a fic that included Mike flailing his arms adorkably since that's one of my favorite moments of the finale.

This is really gorgeous. I teared up by the end, and the whole thing is just sweet and bittersweet and painful. I love Mike's voice here, and the budding thing between him and Tina, and how you can really feel the ties between all of them, even when they don't always get along.

Hearing you say it's bittersweet and painful makes me so ridiculously happy, in a very strange way. There just seemed to be so much left unsaid in this episode regarding Regionals, and Beth, and everyone's relationship with each other; I wish it could have been a 3 or 4 hour episode to include all the wonderful group dynamics they set up over the season.
Especially the pain of giving up Beth; not only have they not mentioned it at all this season between Puck and Quinn, but it seems a bit strange that no one would feel a sense of loss given how much Beth shaped Glee that year.
And of course, Mike and Tina... well, there was something there even if the show didn't blatantly show it.

Right, cue epic reviewing.

OMG, Mike is so spot on here. From the flailing, to the coffee buying, to the pacing with Finn. They're all such Mike things, because while he didn't say much during the first season, you only have to look at him in the background of scenes to know that he was hyper-aware of everything that was going on.

I love that he's third in line to hug Puck. Mike and Puck are so the designated Glee cuddlers.

AND I LOVE THAT SAN SAYS Q IS STILL HER GIRL. Holy Trinity = <3

Mike and Tina standing outside the nursery is enough just to make me crazy CRAY. Because there should NEVER be so much sadness when the two of them are looking at a baby. And I love that they're there as friends (with obvious interests in each other - and crazy crush on Mike's part) but it foreshadows SO MUCH MORE.
