Guuuuuys, I feel like a lump, and somehow playing video games will totally fix that. But I don't know what I should play. We all know I am Captain Indecisive.
...I must admit that taking a week off work, hunkering down in the basement, and just gaming would be pretty hard-core amazing. Kingdom Hearts, Psychonauts, whatever else...but we'd need to be careful - it might start to smell after a while XD
Okage! It's a PS2 game that's fairly easy to find cheap and/or secondhand. If you are still reluctant to spend, say, ten to fifteen dollars on it, I will go out and buy you a copy, and then mail it to you, just so you will play it. The art is adorable and quirky, the music is just plain fun, and the story is both interesting and humorous. (Three words: Evil King Stan.) It's a pretty early game for the platform, so the load times getting to different areas/rooms are pretty terrible, but if you can get past that, it's a great play.
More? Well, there's a bitchy bratty princess, a lady hero with a pink shadow she's absolutely ashamed of, a bossy talking shadow, a not-quite-vampire who talks in rhymed couplets, and the main character himself is frequently ignored and/or overlooked. Also, more evil kings than you can stick a shake at. (Sewer Evil King! Circus Evil King! Pop Star Evil King! Collect them all! I mean, play to meet all of them!)
